WordCamp Europe 2025: The must-attend event for WordPress enthusiasts

From June 5 to 7, it’s that time again: the annual WordCamp Europe is happening! This year in Basel, Switzerland. WordCamp Europe is an informal event, organized by the community of WordPress fans. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned Core developer, here you’ll find everything related to WordPress! StoreLinkr will also be there as a sponsor.

What’s on the agenda?

At WordCamp Europe (WCEU), you won’t be bored. A packed three-day schedule awaits you.

Keynotes

On June 6 and 7, you can attend talks on a variety of topics. Whether you're interested in making your website more sustainable, getting into the mind of a Core developer, or learning how block themes can improve a WooCommerce store—there's something for everyone!

Workshops

Throughout the event, you can also join various workshops. These are interactive: you learn by doing and work on specific tasks. This means you’ll immediately apply what you’ve learned. Learn new skills such as coding, design, or marketing.

You can find an overview of all keynotes and workshops on the WCEU website.

Networking

What better place to meet other WordPress users than here?! Between the keynotes and workshops, there’s plenty of time to connect with fellow attendees and sponsors.

Visit sponsors

A wide variety of sponsors will be present, from large companies to small niche players. Meet them, chat with them, and try demos of their products. StoreLinkr will also have a booth—come say hi!

Side events

As if all that wasn’t enough, WCEU also organizes several side events to make your experience even better. Enjoy a picnic in the park, sing karaoke, or grab a drink during happy hour—all great ways to explore the city and meet others in a relaxed setting!

Who is WCEU for?

For WordPress users of all levels! Whether you’re a newbie or a developer, a wide range of topics will be covered—there’s truly something for everyone. You are very welcome.

Contributor Day

On June 5, the special Contributor Day takes place. This is your chance to contribute to WordPress—even if you’re a beginner. The goal is to meet, learn from each other, and improve WordPress together. You do not need to be a developer.

Examples of how you can contribute:

  • Test and report bugs in the WordPress Core, themes, and plugins
  • Write or improve WordPress documentation
  • Help others in the support forums
  • Write or update lesson plans and training materials
  • Use marketing to promote WordPress

Note: you need to register separately for Contributor Day.
